There are a number of interesting free webcam streams out there on the internet. If you ever just need something interesting to watch or something to pass the time, these are all great ones that should not be missed.
The Paignton Zoo in Devon, England has a “Rhino Cam” that streams live to anyone who wants to watch rhinos live in their habitat. You can get up close with these amazing animals from the comfort of your own home! In another foreign example, the Daikon-Florist cam comes straight from Japan and allows you to watch customers coming and going inside a floral shop. La Puntilla de Rosa, a condo in the Dominican Republic, features a webcam that allows you to watch the nearby beach during daylight.
Perhaps you want to watch from high vantage points? There’s a great view of New York City’s west side, overlooking a park on Gansevoort St, updated every 15 minutes by EarthCam. Or if you want to watch skiers in action, the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania can be watched on four different live, streaming cameras during the appropriate months. For a more pristine view of some mountains, check out a bunch of cameras updated every 5-15 seconds of Bow Valley Provincial Park in Exshaw, Canada. You’ll be sure to see some fantastic and beautiful imagery, all on your own home computer.
Any of these webcams can be found if you do a search for their businesses and organizations, and are all great fun to watch.
